We’re proud to share that our founder and chairperson, Jessica Chang, has been named to Forbes Asia’s 2026 Power Businesswomen list.
This year’s list recognizes 20 women across a dozen countries and territories who are shaping Asia’s economy through a period of global uncertainty. Jessica is one of four honorees leading companies at the heart of the AI infrastructure boom.
Jessica founded JPC Connectivity (formerly Jess-Link Products) in 1992, working out of her apartment with a single employee. Over more than three decades, she has grown the company into a global supplier of high-speed connectivity products, including fiber-optic cables and optical transceivers, with a team of around 2,000 people. Today, those products help AI data centers, telecom networks, autonomous driving systems, and industrial automation move data quickly and reliably.
Her path to this point is a story of persistence. Raised in a farming family in rural Taiwan, Jessica studied economics at Tunghai University while working as a waitress, then gained experience in sales and electronic-components procurement before starting the company.
We’re grateful to Forbes Asia for the recognition, and to our customers, partners, and team members who have been part of this journey.
